We want Manchester Rubbermen to be a space where people can have fun, share their kinks, and relax. Manchester Rubbermen is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form.
This code of conduct applies to all Manchester Rubbermen spaces, including our discord server, our twitter (@MancRubMen), our facebook page and our events, both online and off. Anyone who violates this code of conduct may be sanctioned or expelled from these spaces at the discretion of the Core Team (admins).
If you are being harassed, or experience racism or transphobia, by a member of the server, or have witnessed harassment, racism, transphobia etc by another member of the server, please PM one of the Admins. If it is one of the admins who is harassing you, please PM a different admin.
Please provide as much information as you can, including any screenshots you have taken.
The admin will discuss what outcome you are looking for, and make a decision as quickly as possible. In some cases, we will mute the person concerned whilst we make our decision. Outcomes might be an apology from the member alongside a warning, muting for a set period, or a ban. For racist or transphobic behaviour, a ban is the default option.
If you are at a live event, please contact a member of the core team, or a member of the venue staff/security.
The staff will manage your concerns as best as they can, and will remove members for racist or transphobic behaviour. For other concerns, they may give a warning to the member concerned. If you are not happy with the action taken, please speak to a core team member, and we will do our best to address your concerns.
We will respect confidentiality requests for the purpose of protecting victims of abuse. At our discretion, we may publicly name a person about whom we’ve received harassment complaints, or privately warn third parties about them, if we believe that doing so will increase the safety of Manchester Rubbermen members or the general public. We will not name harassment victims without their affirmative consent.
